	Vista's Marine underwriting facility initially has three major components: Ocean Marine Inland Marine Agriculture The program is backed by Century Surety Company, rated A- [Excellent] by A.M. Best's, and assigned a size category VIII. Depending upon the exact line of coverage, claims are handled by Century Surety direct staff or well-established Marine specialty TPA's. Open market wholesale brokerage can also be performed for coverages lying outside of the underwriting program. Marine coverages by their nature can be intensely tailored to meet specific client needs. The facility is under the management of a seasoned underwriter possessing over 35 years experience, with long standing market relationships. His experience encompasses 14 years of underwriting positions with Fireman's Fund, Hartford, Royal and Arch Insurance Companies, and the balance with retail brokerage companies, including 14 years as principal of his own Marine specialty agency.
